Welcome to the Troop 256 Website. We are sponsored by Bannockburn Baptist Church. We meet every Tuesday evening from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in room 202 of the Bannockburn Education Center. Bannockburn is located at 7100 Brodie Ln. Austin, Texas. Troop 256 was founded in 1991 and over the years has maintained a quality program that adheres to the principles of scouting.

We are a Journey to Excellence - Gold Award Unit for 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019,2020, and 2021.
